Road Rail Vehicles

A Road Rail Vehicle (RRV) is a road going truck adapted to operate on both public roads and rail lines. A total of 345 RRVs are currently in operation with our customers which spans over the country’s rail network. We are also the exclusive supplier of this equipment to Transnet.

These units fall into 5 main categories, namely:

Track maintenance
Overhead power cable maintenance
Track inspection
Bridge inspection
Track construction

Each unit is specially designed for a particular application with the carrying capacities from a half to eight tons.

With a fleet of 25 reach stackers, we are one of the biggest owners and suppliers of this equipment in South Africa.

Special Equipment

We supply equipment to fulfil all our customers’ requirements, including terminal tractors for operation in container terminals and mobile cranes of varying capacity.
